We have done an extensive audit of our staff files, and this will be completed regularly to ensure this does not happen again. A pre-start compliance checklist has been reinforced and must be signed off by management prior to employment. Also, no candidate will commence employment until management receive an ‘authorisation to commence employment’ email from HR.
